Business Animation – Influencing the Return of Business Investments

The context of animation these days has drastically changed since the days of the static comics and the animated videos on YouTube. In fact, it had transcended to be more than just cartoons and films. Today, it had evolved brilliantly that it now can influence the return on business investments. The case in point is the business animation.

There are now few people who consciously remind themselves that animation these days is more than mere entertainment. In short, they are now serious stuff today. We would then know why businesses across industries are using them to their advantage.

State of animation

What had began as multiple hand-drawn frames were replaced by the computer revolution.  With technology, animation had become known as the happy but “intricate relationship between technology and artwork.

Its current reach has made huge penetration into every known industry these days. At this advanced stage, it had also been making possible architectural visualizations and virtual tours, as well as mechanical designs that cut development costs. This is over and above the previously produced educational tools for health care and learning.

Animation types

There are several genres of animation that can be used by businesses based on such factors as reach, audience profile, concept and medium. These are also stand-alone preferences in use today.

Traditional animation is usually hand-sketches screened quickly to create the illusion of movement. These are still used by ad agencies today (called animatics) to test commercials before production.

The 2D animation is similar to traditional animation and employs computers to simulate two-dimensional motion. 3D (CGI) is a more realistic three-dimensional look using computerized software to create an animation.

Motion graphics are often used for multi-media projects where texts and images are given the illusion of motion (animated logos, movie opening titles). Stop motion is a series of photographs of objects taken in sequential different positions to create the illusion of movement when played back.

Education

The six-second videos can be utilized in highlighting the unique selling features of new products, apps, or services. At the moment, there is no better alternative in explaining complex features than with visuals that do away with the technicalities.

Animation brings life to the product and keeps the audiences engaged all throughout with simple personalized visuals for better comprehension.

In today’s complex world, there is a universal desire for information in its most simple form. When presented as an entertainment, you have the eyes and ears of the audience. This is because animators allow easy processing of information without the technicalities to strain the audience’s minds.

Right now, the interactive nature of social media has its own advantages when it comes to micro-videos or campaigns. Social media are mostly for visitors who want entertainment and the videos are fit for them.

Emotion transfer

Animation is one great way to connect emotionally with your audience. Everyone is fascinated with a make believe world. These can be in the form of animated videos that are commercials, or campaigns that deliver their messages without texts and dialogues.

Business animation does away with the feeling of the audience as being sold to.
